Diwali Celebrations at Jan Seva

Today we celebrated Diwali in Jan Seva with sound,light, color, savories and unlimited joy, fun and frolic!

Sound was represented by the clapping of tiny hands of our Jan Seva Creche and Udaan special needs children, who were extremely excited to watch the different colorful fire-works!

Two beautiful 'Rangoli' (designs drawn on the floor with myriads of colorful powders) created by special needs teacher Riya, adult literacy educator Aditi and some creche teachers along with our children.

The story of Diwali and why it is celebrated was narrated to the children and they listened to it with greater interest.

Savory Snacks and sweets were distributed among our Jan Seva staff to celebrate the festivities.
