CRÈCHE

Jan Seva Creches for underpriviledged children belonging to 2-6 years of age provide free education, nutrition and health coverage. It is a boon to local underpriviledged women who are mostly domestic workers and need a safe place to leave their young children.

Our endeavour is to ensure that the child leaves us with the best mental and physical age appropriate growth. We run an informal education programme to prepare the children for admission into mainstream schools. Festivals such as Holi, Diwali, Saraswati Puja , etc as well as important dates in our history such as Republic Day, Independence day etc are celebrated with great fervour. This adds to the children's all round development and awareness.

Last but not the least, play activities are given a lot of importance, probably the best therapy for a child.

Nutrition through balanced meals - breakfast and lunch - are provided.

Children are also given free uniforms and books as per their curriculum.

We find it important to also give our teachers orientation courses in order to update teaching methods to make schooling a happy and enjoyable experience for the children.

Parent Awareness meetings concerning their childrens' education and all round well being are held regularly. The importance of their role  and cooperation in our efforts is stressed.

It has been a very successful and rewarding programme where the children of surrounding areas have had an opportunity for the best headstart in life, which will benefit them for years to come.
