Rath Yatra Celebrations at Jan Seva
Jan Seva celebrated Rath Yatra 2019 with the children of both ECCEC and UDAAN today. The teachers and the children enjoyed thoroughly by pulling the chariot of the Lord Jagannath stepping out with Balaram and Subhadra. These chariots/rath were made by the children. The children were involved in a craft making activity where their Raths were displayed and gifts were given to those who have participated in helping the teachers make their Rath. This was done to encourage the children participate in craft making. The helpers also involved themselves with the children.
The celebrations which ended with the distribution of kichuri, sweets and papad was a fun-filled activity for all involved.
