School Girls get Educated on Health & Hygiene at SICW Workshop

SICW organised a Health and Hygiene Workshop. The children who attended the event were students of VI, VII and VII.

The Workshop was organised to encourage young teenage girls to adopt simple healthy habits that can prevent illnesses such as washing hands five times a day, using a toilet for defecation and adopting safe drinking water practices and to use sanitary pads during menstruation.

It was an interactive session in which the students spontaneously took part. The girls asked the doctor questions regarding their various health problems.

Sanitary towels were distributed as a part of the awareness campaign!
