Today we celebrated 'Rakhi' festival in 'UDAAN'.

This is a festival where the sister makes the brother wear a colorful friendship band known as 'Rakhi' on his right wrist and in return he promises to protect his sister throughout his life and also gives her a gift!

You can see the happy faces of our special- needs children wearing bright, colorful 'Rakhi' made out of chart paper, crepe paper, marble paper, ribbons and sequins. These 'rakhis' are made by our tiny-tots with guidance from our special educators, Sumitra and Riya.

Chocolates and eclairs were given to the children as gifts.
