At Udaan, Jan Seva, every effort is focused on ensuring that children receive the right support, care, and opportunities to enhance their abilities and independence. Continuing this commitment, we had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Swarup Paul, Physiotherapist from the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy (IICP), for two valuable sessions held on 9th June 2026 and 11th June 2026.
These interactive sessions were organised to provide specialised guidance for our children and offer hands-on support and knowledge sharing with our Udaan physiotherapist, Bittu Pal. The sessions focused on understanding each child’s individual needs and exploring effective physiotherapy approaches to support their development and well-being.
The interaction was also extremely beneficial for our special educators, who received important inputs on classroom adjustments and adaptations. These practical suggestions will help create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment where children can participate comfortably and confidently.
A significant part of the sessions was dedicated to discussing home exercise programmes and sharing essential do’s and don’ts with parents. Parents were actively involved in the discussions so that they could continue the recommended practices at home and contribute towards achieving better outcomes for their children.
The collaborative approach between therapists, educators, and parents highlights the importance of teamwork in supporting children with diverse needs. Such knowledge-sharing initiatives empower everyone involved and strengthen the journey towards greater independence, growth, and happiness for every child at Udaan, Jan Seva.
