The children of SICW enjoyed a delightful and enriching visit to the Zoo, accompanied by their teachers and caregivers. For many of them, it was the very first time witnessing wildlife up close, and their excitement was unmistakable from the moment they entered the zoo premises.
Guided by their teachers, the little ones explored the vibrant world of animals with wide-eyed wonder. They eagerly observed majestic creatures such as the tiger and lion, watched the hippopotamus resting peacefully, and were fascinated by the gentle movements of elephants and the tall elegance of giraffes. The colourful birds, with their bright feathers and cheerful calls, added to the joy and curiosity of the children, making the experience truly magical.
The day also doubled as a picnic, bringing smiles and laughter as the children sat together on the open grounds, happily sharing food with their friends. These moments of togetherness strengthened bonds and created a warm, joyful atmosphere filled with chatter and giggles.
Beyond recreation, the outing became a meaningful learning experience. It nurtured the children’s curiosity, encouraged observation and exploration, and helped them develop a deeper connection with nature and the world around them.
It was truly a memorable day—one filled with discovery, joy, and learning—that will stay with the children for a long time to come.
