Saraswati Puja, celebrated on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, marks the arrival of spring and the fifth day (Panchami) of the bright half of the Hindu month of Magha. This special day is dedicated to worshipping Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of knowledge, wisdom, music, and art. The festival symbolizes learning, creativity, and the promise of fresh beginnings.
This year, Jan Seva celebrated Saraswati Puja with great devotion and enthusiasm. A grand puja was organized in the main hall, beautifully decorated for the occasion, where prayers and offerings were made to Goddess Saraswati.
The celebration was made even more vibrant as all the children and staff dressed in shades of yellow, the traditional color of Basant Panchami. Yellow symbolizes the blooming mustard fields of spring, the brilliance of Goddess Saraswati, and the warmth and energy of the sun. The joyful atmosphere reflected the spirit of positivity, intellectual growth, and hope for a bright future.
The celebration brought everyone together in a shared moment of devotion, culture, and happiness, making the occasion truly memorable for the Jan Seva family.
